TRUSTFOOD at All Four LEADSx2030 Sub-Cluster Meetings!

The TRUSTFOOD project demonstrated strong collaborative engagement through its active participation in all four sub-cluster meetings organized by the LEADSx2030 Project. These meetings brought together coordinators and representatives from multiple Digital Europe initiatives to foster knowledge exchange, identify common challenges, and strengthen cross-project synergies.

TRUSTFOOD at GuardAgents Kick-Off Meeting!

Rezos Brands had the opportunity to showcase the TRUSTFOOD project during the Synergies Session of the GuardAgents Project (MSCA Staff Exchanges) Kick-Off Meeting on November 20th, 2025. On November 3rd, Green Point had the opportunity to present TrustFood during the BRAIN Transnational Training, held in Moravske Toplice, Slovenia. TRUSTFOOD at 2nd Conference on Ecological Crisis and Economic Impacts!

Smart Agro Hub proudly showcased TrustFood during the 2nd Conference “Ecological Crisis & Economic Impacts: Adaptation, Innovation & Resilience”, held in Athens and organized by the School of Biosciences and the School of Business Administration of Aegean College. The event took place under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment & Energy and the Region of Attica, bringing together experts, academics, and industry leaders to discuss strategies for addressing ecological challenges and promoting sustainable economic development.

TRUSTFOOD and VLAG Course!

As part of the TRUSTFOOD – a Digital Europe Project, Wageningen University recently concluded a highly successful two-day VLAG course, designed to explore the transformative potential of blockchain technology in the agri-food sector.

The course brought together PhD researchers from a wide range of disciplines, backgrounds, and nationalities, fostering a dynamic and interdisciplinary learning environment. Participants engaged in interactive group activities, lively discussions, and knowledge-strengthening quizzes, gaining hands-on experience and practical insights into the ways digital technologies can improve transparency, trust, and data integrity throughout food supply chains.

TRUSTFOOD at ADS Cluster Coordinators Board Meeting!

The TRUSTFOOD project was featured at the ADS Cluster Coordinators Board Meeting on October 10th, 2025, where a dedicated session titled “From Design to Delivery: TRUSTFOOD Implementation Overview” was delivered to participating coordinators and stakeholders.

During the presentation, the project team offered a concise yet comprehensive overview of TRUSTFOOD’s implementation progress, highlighting key achievements, ongoing activities, and upcoming milestones. In early September 2025, Smart Agro Hub proudly presented TrustFood during the latest consortium meeting of the DigiBuild Project, reaffirming its commitment to driving digital transformation across the agri-food sector. The gathering brought together key partners to discuss progress, share innovations, and align on strategic actions that support a more resilient and sustainable post-pandemic recovery.

In the wake of Covid-19, digital transformation and innovation have emerged as essential pillars for rebuilding economies and fostering sustainable development—particularly in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region. With agriculture at the heart of many LAC economies, improving productivity, transparency, and value distribution has become a major priority.

TrustFood, Smart Agro Hub’s flagship initiative, was highlighted during the meeting as a powerful tool capable of addressing these challenges head-on. Designed to ensure traceability, accountability, and fairness throughout the agri-food value chain, TrustFood supports both producers and consumers by verifying product authenticity and promoting ethical practices.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 19:00 to 21:00, a seminar titled “Digital Technologies in Agriculture” took place in the Community of Kato Diminio, Municipality of Sikyonion. The event was organized in collaboration with the Cultural Association of Kato Diminio.

The seminar highlighted the growing importance of digital tools and smart technologies in modern farming.
