As part of the TRUSTFOOD project, a paper titled “Building a Course on Blockchain Applications for Food Quality Assurance and Certification – Approach and Lessons Learned” was accepted for presentation at the 16th Annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies. The conference was held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from July 1st to 3rd, 2024.

The paper, authored by professors Karetsos, Demestichas, and Costopoulou, explores the development of a course designed to educate the labour force on blockchain’s role in ensuring food quality and transparency. It outlines the approach taken, as well as key lessons learned during the course’s creation.
