TRUSTFOOD’s Prominent Presence at Data Space Symposium 2023

The TRUSTFOOD project, funded by Digital Europe, had a notable presence at the “Data Spaces Symposium & Deep-Dive Day” from March 21st to March 23rd, 2023. 482.solutions briefly presented TRUSTFOOD at this gathering of leading data-sharing initiatives. The event, organised in partnership with key players like the International Data Spaces Association, highlighted TRUSTFOOD’s commitment to innovation in the dynamic digital landscape.

TRUSTFOOD’s participation in the symposium reaffirms its relevance and dedication to advancing digital technologies and blockchain. TrustFood Project Highlighted at the 5th VERDE.TEC FORUM 2023

The TRUSTFOOD project took center stage at the 5th VERDE.TEC FORUM 2023 in Athens, featuring a presentation by Smart Agro Hub. Smart Agro Hub discussed how the competence center contributes to the digital transformation of Greek agriculture, with a special focus on the TRUSTFOOD project and its role in Advanced Digital Skills on Blockchain for Trusted Food Supply Chains. The event took place from March 17th to March 19th, 2023.

The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among experts, industry leaders, and agriculture stakeholders. TrustFood’s participation reinforced its role in advancing the digital transformation and promoting trusted food supply chains.

TRUSTFOOD in “Funding, Networking and Technology Transfer Opportunities for Mature Research Groups of the Agricultural University”

Smart Agro Hub had the chance to present our Digital Europe-funded project TrustFood at the “Funding, Networking and Technology Transfer Opportunities for Mature Research Groups of the Agricultural University” organized by the National Documentation Centre in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens on February 13th, 2024.

The event focused on the services provided by the National Documentation Center and the Agricultural University of Athens to young researchers, spinoffs and startups, while presentations were given by the Agricultural University of Athens technologists.

Specifically from the National Documentation Center, Dr Nikos Karampekios, Head of the Innovation and Networking Unit, and Angelos Angelidis, Coordinator Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas, presented NDC’s services to the research, academic and business community in the country, while George Megas, Principal National Contact Point for Horizon Europe and coordinator of the EITHealth Hub, Dr Sofia Xesfingi, Varvara Vasilaki and Marios Roides, National Contact Points for Horizon Europe, presentED funding opportunities through the clusters of the Horizon EU.

TRUSTFOOD Project Kicks Off in Patra, Greece

The TRUSTFOOD project recently commenced its three-year journey with a highly productive kickoff meeting in Patras, Greece. This meeting laid the foundation for a promising EU-funded project that is set to address vital challenges in the food supply chain security and trustworthiness sectors. The significance of this event can be summarized in a few key points.

Foundation Building: The Patras meeting allowed project partners to plan, strategize, and establish a clear roadmap for the project’s future. It marked a crucial phase in aligning visions and defining strategies.

Relationship Strengthening: Face-to-face interactions during the kickoff meeting facilitated relationship building among project partners, fostering trust and unity. These relationships will play a pivotal role in the project’s success.
