On March 15th, 2024, the Smart Agro Hub had the distinct pleasure of showcasing the TRUSTFOOD project at the renowned 2nd Technical Evening School of Piraeus. This engaging visit was part of the project’s initiative to ignite enthusiasm and deepen understanding of advanced agrifood technologies and the pivotal role of blockchain in ensuring transparency within supply chains.
During the event, the presentation illuminated the TRUSTFOOD project’s goals and initiatives, which sparked a vibrant and thought-provoking discussion. Both students and faculty members were highly receptive to the content. For many students, it was their first encounter with blockchain applications in the agrifood sector, which provided a fresh perspective on the potential for technological innovation in food systems. Meanwhile, others with prior knowledge contributed valuable insights, fostering a rich dialogue that enhanced the overall learning experience.
